For the past few years, the Anti-Black Racism Task Force in the infant, child, and youth mental health sector in Toronto has been consulting with the Black community and community agencies to develop a strategy to support better outcomes for Black service users.
We will be launching the Research Report and Strategy at a symposium on: Date and time: Wednesday, February 8, 2023, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm In-person: Westin Harbour Castle Hotel, Toronto 1 Harbour Square (Bay Street & Queens Quay West) Virtual: Individuals are also able to register to attend virtually. This is an exciting and ground-breaking event for the sector. At the symposium, we will hear from service users and leaders in the sector about the needed change to better serve Black infants, children, and youth in Toronto. We will also hear from CEOs/EDs in the sector about their commitment to implementing this ground breaking strategy. Please note that because we care about our service users, our employees, and our community, this will be a masked event. Those unable to mask are able to attend the symposium virtually. |
